The 2026 Executive Opportunity Investor & Developer Summit: South
Where Southern Market Signals Become Executable Development, Infrastructure, and Investment Strategy
Capital. Power. Infrastructure. Technology. Deal Flow.
November 18–19, 2026
9:30 AM–3:30 PM
Dallas, Texas | Location to Be Announced
Presented by the Oliver Bennett Agency, Green Building Worldwide, and the Economic Infrastructure Group
Planning for Capital, Housing Delivery, Power Readiness, Infrastructure and Transit-Oriented Growth
From Regional Momentum to Executable Opportunity
The South is entering a consequential investment and development cycle.
Population growth, industrial expansion, port and logistics activity, airport investment, data-center demand, housing pressure, infrastructure modernization, land-use reform, and rising electricity requirements are reshaping the region’s development geography.
Between 2020 and 2025, the South’s population increased by 6 percent—nearly twice the national growth rate of 3.1 percent. It was also the only U.S. region to record growth across every major age group during that period.
Momentum, however, is not execution.
The next advantage will belong to developers, investors, landowners, infrastructure leaders, energy strategists, and capital partners that can identify where zoning, utilities, transportation, market demand, public approvals, political support, and capital are positioned to align.
The 2026 Executive Opportunity Investor & Developer Summit: South is a private-market intelligence and deal-flow summit designed to help senior decision-makers distinguish high-growth markets from development-ready markets—and promising sites from opportunities that can actually be controlled, powered, entitled, financed, and delivered.
Dallas provides a strategic setting for this conversation and a connection point between Texas and the broader Southern growth economy.
Southern Corridor Signals
8.5 Million Residents Across Dallas–Fort Worth
The Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area reached approximately 8.5 million residents in 2025, an increase of 11 percent since April 2020. More than half of the region’s cities with at least 20,000 residents grew by 5 percent or more during that period, illustrating how development pressure is extending beyond the traditional urban core into outer-ring jurisdictions.
More Than $12 Billion in DFW Airport Investment
DFW International Airport is advancing more than $12 billion in terminal, airfield, roadway, gate, and infrastructure improvements. A 2025 economic-impact study released by the airport estimated that DFW supports approximately 684,000 regional jobs and contributes $78.3 billion annually to the North Texas economy.
367,790 MW of Preliminary ERCOT Demand by 2032
ERCOT’s preliminary long-term forecast projects approximately 367,790 megawatts of electricity demand by 2032. For context, ERCOT’s all-time peak demand was 85,508 megawatts, recorded in August 2023.
5.7 Million Containers Through Savannah
The Port of Savannah handled approximately 5.7 million twenty-foot equivalent container units in 2025, its second-busiest year on record. It also moved a record 545,214 containers by rail and operated 42 double-stack trains each week serving markets that include Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, Charlotte, and Orlando. Georgia Ports is advancing a $4.5 billion port and inland-infrastructure plan.
4.3 Million Containers Through Port Houston
Port Houston handled a record 4.3 million container units and approximately 54.5 million short tons of cargo across its public terminals in 2025. The Houston Ship Channel includes more than 200 private terminals and eight public terminals, connecting maritime trade with petrochemicals, manufacturing, machinery, consumer goods, and energy-intensive industry.
26 Affordable Homes for Every 100 Extremely Low-Income Texas Renters
Texas has approximately 26 affordable and available rental homes for every 100 extremely low-income renter households. Approximately 79 percent of those households are severely cost burdened.
A Working Summit for Decision-Makers
This is not a general real estate conference.
It is an executive working summit for leaders responsible for determining where capital moves, which projects advance, and which corridors are positioned to support the next cycle of development.
The Summit will examine the South not as a collection of individual cities, but as an interconnected network of investment corridors shaped by:
Ports, airports, freight rail, highways, transit systems and inland terminals
Power generation, transmission, substations, interconnection and utility capacity
Industrial, logistics, manufacturing, aviation and data-center demand
Housing production, affordability, workforce access and demographic change
Transit-oriented development, station-area planning and corridor redevelopment
Zoning reform, entitlement policy, environmental review and approval timelines
Water, wastewater, stormwater and public-service capacity
Federal, state, local, institutional and private infrastructure investment
Technology, resilience, electrification and building-performance requirements
Institutional capital, private credit, incentives and public-private delivery models
Participants will gain a sharper framework for evaluating where regional growth is becoming an executable opportunity—before the strongest corridors become obvious institutional targets.
The Ecosystem Advantage
The Summit brings together the intelligence, capabilities, and market perspectives of three complementary platforms.
Oliver Bennett Agency
Zoning, Development Strategy, Market Positioning and Deal Flow
The Oliver Bennett Agency examines how land-use policy, entitlements, site control, transportation access, public approvals, corridor positioning, and market strategy affect the viability and value of development opportunities.
Green Building Worldwide
Energy, Technology, Resilience and High-Performance Development
Green Building Worldwide evaluates how advanced technology, power readiness, building systems, energy strategy, digital infrastructure, resilience, electrification, and long-term operating performance influence project competitiveness.
Economic Infrastructure Group
Infrastructure, Capital, Policy and Market Intelligence
The Economic Infrastructure Group examines the infrastructure investments, capital structures, public policies, delivery models, and institutional movements shaping where economic growth can be supported and scaled.
Together, the ecosystem connects the site, corridor, infrastructure, power strategy, technology platform, capital stack, and execution path.
Why Attend
Read the Market Before It Becomes Obvious
Move beyond population rankings and growth announcements to understand the infrastructure, power, zoning, housing, transportation, and capital conditions driving opportunity.
Strengthen Early-Stage Development Diligence
Apply a more rigorous framework for evaluating utility capacity, transportation access, entitlement risk, public approvals, technology requirements, infrastructure readiness, and financing feasibility before significant capital is committed.
Identify Corridor-Level Opportunity
Examine how ports, airports, freight networks, inland terminals, employment centers, energy infrastructure, transit systems, housing demand, and public investment are creating new development geographies.
Understand What Capital Is Prioritizing
Gain insight into the readiness indicators increasingly evaluated by institutional investors, lenders, infrastructure funds, private-credit providers, and strategic partners.
Expand Strategic Relationships
Engage with senior leaders involved in development, investment, infrastructure, energy, technology, housing, transportation, public policy, and project delivery.
Position for Deal Flow
Identify emerging projects, partnerships, sites, technologies, capital requirements, advisory opportunities, and market-entry strategies across the South.
What Participants Will Gain
Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of:
Where growth, infrastructure capacity, and capital are most likely to converge
How to evaluate power and utility readiness before site acquisition
Why corridor positioning can be more consequential than municipal boundaries
How port, airport and inland-terminal investment affects adjacent development
How housing and transportation affect economic-development capacity
Which readiness indicators influence capital and development decisions
How technology, resilience, and building performance affect asset competitiveness
Where public investment may create adjacent private-market opportunity
How to move from market intelligence to partnerships and deal flow
Featured speakers and participating executives will be announced up until the Summit.
Early Access Registration Is Open
The strongest Southern corridors are becoming more competitive. Power capacity is carrying greater weight in site-selection decisions. Infrastructure readiness is increasingly affecting underwriting, and institutional capital is moving earlier in the development process.
Participation will be intentionally limited to preserve the executive character of the summit, support substantive discussion, and facilitate meaningful strategic engagement.
Early Access closes in August or when the allocated seats are filled.
Register during the Early Access period to secure your place before remaining availability is released through the Executive Priority List.
Early Access: $495 | Regular Registration: $695
Early Access Registration closes in August or when the allocated Early Access seats have been filled, whichever occurs first.
Executive Priority List
Executives who are not prepared to register may join the Executive Priority List to receive program announcements, speaker updates, and notice of future registration availability. Placement on the Executive Priority List does not guarantee admission. When priority access is released, selected recipients may be provided a limited period in which to register.
Position before the next generation of Southern opportunities becomes broadly recognized, institutionally targeted, and fully priced.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Strategic sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations seeking to position their expertise, projects, technologies, capital capabilities, or market leadership before a senior development and investment audience.
